Booth Specifications, Exhibition Fee

Application deadline: 12:00, Monday, February 3, 2020

Eligibility for Exhibiting: All companies / organizations with products or services directly related to the field of Sewage are welcome to exhibit.

Exhibition Fee: The Exhibition Fee is as follows :
• Registration fee : 143,000JPY
• Booth fee : 387,000JPY per 9 square meters square unit
• Online Exhibitor Directory entry：20,000JPY
• Exhibitor Presentaion (optional) : 51,000JPY per slot

Standard Booth Specifications: The Exhibition Fee is for the shell scheme booth with walls only. The fee does not include furniture, carpet, fascia board, spotlight, power sockets, insurance, cleaning, loading & handling of equipment, staff, telephones, exhibit dressing, and advertising or promotional material except entry of the exhibitor directory.

Ceiling structure and two-storeys structure are not permitted in principle (however, ceiling structure may be permitted by prior application).
Putting advertising balloons in booths is prohibited, even if within the decoration height limit, as it is considered dangerous due to the effect of wind from the air conditioning outlet in the building.
1-3 booths and 5 booths are parallel booths. If you are applying for 4 booths, please choose either parallel or double row. Over 6 booths are double-row booths (or independent booths).
　* Independent booths are limited to the exhibition space, and no partition wall panels are included.
However, booth number boards will be distributed, and these are to be displayed at the corridor-side booth front.
If you apply for more than 13 booths, the Sewage Works Exhibition Executive Office will make necessary verification and overall adjustments, so we may contact you.
Due to the layout of the venue, applications for 7 booths and 11 booths are not accepted in principle. Please be aware.
Intex Osaka prohibits propane gas and hydrogen tanks. Any hazardous item involving naked flame or hydrogen must receive a permit from the fire department with jurisdiction over Intex Osaka in order to be brought into the venue.
Intex Osaka's ceiling height is about 12m in the 1st to 5th building A zone and about 5m only in the 5th building B zone.

About the Package Booth fee required

Online Exhibitor directory

Online Exhibitor directory is used for Attendees to learn which companies are exhibiting, and what products/services will be featured. Furthermore, it offers comprehensive information about exhibitors’ business outline and featured/new product display with pictures and movies.
＊Online Exhibitor directory is only available in Japanese.

Expenses other than exhibition fees

◆Own booth decorations

Basic booths are provided by the organizer with walls separating them from neighboring booths and a booth number display board. Booth decorations are to be arranged and paid for by each exhibitor.(Booths do not come with company name panels, carpets, desks, chairs, power supply, or light fittings, etc.)The Sewage Works Exhibition the Executive Office does, however, offer booth packages and rental supplies.

◆Installing electricity supply

Exhibitors requiring electricity supply should contact the Sewage Works Exhibition Executive Office by email. Power supply cables will be laid to the pertinent booths and a switch installed. Exhibitors are liable for installation work costs and electricity usage fees. Secondary wiring work (i.e., connecting to the power supply switch within the booth) is to be arranged and paid for by each exhibitor.

◆Water supply, wastewater, and compressed air

Exhibitors requiring water supply, wastewater drainage, and compressed air for demonstrations should contact the Sewage Works Exhibition Executive Office by email. “Mains” supply will be installed to the vicinity of booths.Exhibitors are liable for installation work costs and usage fees.Exhibitors are liable for installation work costs and usage fees. Secondary plumbing work (i.e., connecting the booth to the nearby supply) is to be arranged and paid for by each exhibitor. The Sewage Works Exhibition the Executive Office also handles requests for secondary plumbing work.

◆Internet connection

Exhibitors requiring internet connection should contact the Sewage Works Exhibition Executive Office by email. Exhibitors are liable for connection work costs and usage fees.

Details of the facilities handled by the Sewage Works Exhibition Office will be informed during the briefing session for the exhibitors.

Promotional Activities (TBC)

◆ Promotion among JSWA members, sponsors, and supporters

We will encourage members of Japan Sewage Works Association and its sponsors and supporting organizations to attend.

◆ Posters and pamphlets

We will create printed materials for display at national and local governments, and related organizations. We will also distribute promotional pamphlets among participants in relevant conferences and events to encourage attendance.

◆ Media exposure: newspapers, magazines, public transport, etc.

We will place advertisements and editorial content in the organizer’s periodical and on its website, and will advertise in newspapers and magazines, and on public transport to encourage attendance among the general public.

◆ Advance PR through Web enhancement.

From the top page of the Sewage Works Exhibition official website, which has over 700,000 PV views, to the exhibition introduction page (electronic version of the guidebook). One click access is now available! By drastically increasing the number of views to each exhibitor, the number of visitors will increase.

360° Virtual Reality “Tour”
Once again, this year’s website will feature 360° VR footage, allowing viewers a free “tour” of the exhibition. Free Admission

＜Highly effective promotional tools＞ Virtual reality filming and posting of content online is available for individual booths. (Paid)

◆ Attracting overseas companies and groups

We will leverage our international network to encourage participation and attendance by members of industry groups such the (US) Water Environment Federation, the European Water Association, and the Korea Water and Wastewater Works Association. We will also hold a variety of concurrent events, including international symposia, to attract visitors from overseas.

◆ Promotion via industry journals

We will call on industry journals—i.e., Nihon Suido Shimbunsha, Suido Sangyo Shimbunsha, Kankyoshimbunsha, and Kokyo Toshi Journal—to place editorial content to promote the exhibition and encourage attendance.

Visitor management and pre-registration

◆ Visitors to be issued barcode IDs

Each visitor will be issued an ID card bearing a barcode. These will be scanned upon entry and exit for efficient learning of visitor numbers and demographics.

◆ Advance registration for smoother processing

We will encourage visitors to register in advance at the official exhibition website and print out their barcode ID ahead of time to ensure smooth venue entry. Visitors who register in advance will go into a draw to win fabulous prizes.

Notes on exhibiting

● The Sewage Works Exhibition ‘20 Osaka will be held from August 18th (Tuesday) to 21st (Friday), and from August 16th (Sunday) to 17th (Mon).

This season is between the end of the Olympics and the Paralympic Games. Therefore, it is expected that the following points will be difficult to arrange.
Thank you for your consideration as soon as possible.

1.Securing accommodation facilities (It may be difficult for overseas travelers to secure)
2.Securing vehicles for transporting products, etc. to the Osaka venue (During construction, it may overlap with the Bon Festival period, which may make it difficult to secure vehicles)
3.External human resources arrangement (If you request a staffing company for companions, management staff, part-time workers, etc., it may be difficult to secure local human resources.)

Some exhibitors may be notified from the Sewage Works

Regarding the accommodation

This time it will be limited in quantity, but we have secured accommodation for exhibitors.
